Privacy Policy

Main Street Betz — operated by Global Direction LLC

Effective date: July 10, 2026  |  Last updated: July 10, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Global Direction LLC (“Global Direction,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the company that owns and operates the Main Street Betz newsletter and website (the “Service”), collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you. By subscribing to our newsletter, visiting our website, or otherwise interacting with the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Main Street Betz is a financial media publication. Nothing in the Service is personalized investment advice, and this Policy does not change that — see the Editorial & Financial Disclaimer below.

1. Who We Are

The Service is published by:

Global Direction LLC
Doing business as Main Street Betz
Email: [email protected]

Global Direction LLC is the “data controller” (or “business,” under U.S. state law) responsible for the personal information handled through the Service.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us directly. When you subscribe, reply to an email, respond to a poll or survey, enter a referral program, or contact us, we may collect your email address, name (if provided), and the content of your messages.

Information collected automatically. When you open our emails or visit our website, we and our providers may automatically collect device and usage data — including IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, email opens and clicks, pages viewed, referring URLs, and timestamps — using cookies, tracking pixels, and similar technologies.

Information from third parties. We may receive information from our email platform, analytics providers, advertising and affiliate partners, and social or referral sources — for example, if you subscribe through a partner recommendation or a co-registration form.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive financial account numbers, Social Security numbers, or brokerage credentials, and you should never send them to us.

3. Our Email Platform (Beehiiv)

Our newsletter is created, sent, and managed through Beehiiv, Inc., which acts as a service provider / processor on our behalf. When you subscribe, your email address and engagement data (opens, clicks, subscription status) are stored and processed by Beehiiv so we can deliver the newsletter and understand its performance. Beehiiv’s handling of that data is governed by its own privacy policy, available at beehiiv.com/privacy.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Deliver, operate, and improve the newsletter and website;
  • Send you the issues, updates, and account or transactional messages you’ve requested;
  • Measure engagement and content performance (open rates, click rates, popular topics);
  • Personalize content and, where permitted, tailor advertising and sponsor placements;
  • Operate referral, rewards, and survey programs;
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security issues;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Where required by law, we rely on your consent (which you can withdraw at any time), the performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and growing the Service, and/or compliance with legal obligations as our bases for processing.

5. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

Our website and emails use cookies, web beacons, and tracking pixels to remember your preferences, measure traffic and engagement, and support advertising. Emails commonly include a small pixel that tells us whether a message was opened and which links were clicked. You can set your browser to refuse cookies and can disable image loading in your email client, though some features may not work as intended. Where required, we will present a cookie banner or consent tool that lets you manage non-essential cookies.

6. Advertising, Sponsors & Affiliate Links

Main Street Betz is supported in part by advertising, sponsorships, and affiliate marketing. This means:

  • Sponsored content. Some issues contain paid placements, which we label (for example, “SPONSORED”). Sponsors may provide their own tracking links that record clicks.
  • Affiliate links. Some links are affiliate links. If you click one and take an action (such as signing up or making a purchase), we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate partners may use cookies or tracking parameters to attribute that action, and may collect information about your visit to their own sites under their own privacy policies.
  • Third-party recommendations. We may recommend other newsletters or products, and may participate in cross-promotion or co-registration where a subscriber’s email is shared with a partner they explicitly opt into.

We do not control, and are not responsible for, the privacy practices of advertisers, affiliate partners, or any third-party website you reach through the Service. Review their policies before providing information.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information in these limited circumstances:

  • Service providers. With vendors who operate the Service on our behalf — such as Beehiiv (email delivery), analytics providers, and hosting or infrastructure providers — under agreements that limit their use of the data.
  • Advertising & affiliate partners. With sponsors and affiliate partners as described above, primarily through aggregated performance data and click/attribution tracking, or where you have opted in.
  • Legal & safety. When required by law, subpoena, or legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Global Direction LLC, our subscribers, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our assets, in which case subscriber information may be among the transferred assets.

A note on “selling” and “sharing” under U.S. state law: Certain state privacy laws (such as California’s) define “sale” and “sharing” broadly to include some advertising and cross-context behavioral practices. To the extent our advertising or affiliate practices qualify, you have the right to opt out — see Section 9. You can exercise this right by emailing us or using the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link where provided.

8. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your subscription is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you unsubscribe, we may retain limited records (such as your email on a suppression list) so we can honor your opt-out and meet legal requirements.

9. Your Privacy Rights

Everyone. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, and you can contact us to access, correct, or delete your information.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it; to request access to or deletion of your personal information; to correct inaccurate information; and to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

EEA, UK, and similar jurisdictions (GDPR/UK GDPR). You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data; the right to data portability; and the right to withdraw consent at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Other U.S. states. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws (such as Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and Texas) may have similar rights to access, delete, correct, and opt out of targeted advertising.

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity before acting on your request, and you may use an authorized agent where the law allows.

10. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and our providers (including Beehiiv) may process and store information in the United States and other countries. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., you understand your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the U.S., where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please help protect yourself by using a strong, unique password for any account associated with the Service.

12. Children’s Privacy

The Service is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 (or under 16 where a lower threshold applies). If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-Party Links

The Service contains links to third-party websites, tools, and services we do not control. This Policy applies only to the Service. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of any third party, and we encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice (such as an email or a notice on our website). Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Policy.

15. Editorial & Financial Disclaimer

Main Street Betz is a financial media and educational publication. Its content is for informational purposes only and is not investment, financial, legal, or tax advice, and is not a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. We are not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer. Markets carry risk, and you are solely responsible for your own investment decisions.
