THE MACRO WATCHLIST EDITION

5 PLAYS FOR THE MOST
LOADED WEEK OF 2026

IRAN DEADLINE • CPI • FOMC MINUTES • 5 CATALYSTS

First, the receipts. We put $AEHR on the watchlist March 30 at $32.90. It hit $51.77 today... +57.4% in one week. Here's how we found it. That's what catalyst-driven watchlists do when you're early instead of chasing.

AEHR • $32.90 → $51.77 • +57.4% • STILL RUNNING

We just got back from a long weekend and the world decided to crank the difficulty setting to maximum.

Iran shot down a U.S. F-15E over the weekend. Trump gave them until Tuesday 8 PM ET to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, the shipping lane that carries 20% of the world's oil, or face strikes on power plants and bridges. Polymarket gives a ceasefire by Tuesday just a 3% chance... $3.6 million in real money says this deadline passes without a deal.

And that's just Day 1. By Friday we get FOMC minutes (Wednesday), GDP and PCE (Thursday), and March CPI (Friday), the number that could kill rate cuts for the rest of 2026. Oh, and last week's jobs report blew out at 178K versus 70K expected, which already has Citi pushing their rate cut call to September.

Oil is above $110. The VIX is sitting near 24. Most people are panicking. We built a watchlist.

THE WATCHLIST

5 PLAYS. CONFIRMED CATALYSTS. 2 WEEKS.

Three catalyst plays with hard dates, two macro setups tied to this week's events. Every name is under $100. No chasing, no guessing.

PRODUCT LAUNCH • END OF APRIL

$GRRR — GORILLA TECHNOLOGY

$300M CAP • AI SECURITY • $10.85

Gorilla builds AI-powered security systems for governments... smart city cameras, network surveillance, data center protection. They just crossed $100M in annual revenue for the first time.

The catalyst: Their CEO confirmed on the earnings call that by end of April they're launching the world's first post-quantum cryptography networking product. In simple terms, they built a system that protects networks from being hacked by next-generation quantum computers. Think of it as building a lock that the most powerful computer on Earth can't pick.

The timing matters... we're in an active military conflict where cyberattacks run alongside missiles. They're already running tests with customers and sitting on a $7B pipeline with $108M cash.

The risk: $300M micro-cap with big ambitions. Pipeline isn't revenue. If the launch delays or customers hesitate, it could drift. Small position only.

TECH VALIDATION • LATE APRIL

$PESI — PERMA-FIX ENVIRONMENTAL

$130M CAP • PFAS DESTRUCTION • $11.46

You've probably heard of "forever chemicals" (PFAS), the toxic stuff in everything from non-stick pans to firefighting foam that never breaks down in the environment. The EPA says cleaning them up could cost over $200 billion. Perma-Fix built a patented system that actually destroys these chemicals permanently.

The catalyst: Their next-gen PFAS destruction system starts testing at Oak Ridge in late April. This upgrade triples their capacity from 1,000 to 3,000 gallons per day while cutting costs. Equipment is on-site, CEO confirmed late April or early May start. And today they announced completing a successful PFAS project for a Department of Energy contractor.

At $11-$15 per gallon, with 60-70% target margins, and millions of contaminated gallons waiting for treatment... the math could get very interesting if Gen 2 works.

The risk: $130M micro-cap still running operating losses. Gen 2 was already delayed once for supply chain issues. If testing reveals problems, expect a pullback.

TARIFF REMOVAL • APRIL 16

$SJM — J.M. SMUCKER

$16.9B CAP • CONSUMER STAPLES • $95.44

If you've ever had Folgers, Dunkin' coffee, Café Bustelo, Jif peanut butter, or Smucker's jam... you know this company. They're the largest coffee company in America.

The catalyst: The Trump administration is eliminating the 13% coffee tariff on April 16. That tariff has been eating directly into Smucker's margins on every pound of coffee they import. When it disappears, their cost structure improves overnight... no new revenue needed, no product launch required, just an instant margin boost on their biggest product category.

The risk: This isn't a moonshot, it's a 5-8% type of move. But in a week where everything else is on fire, a boring consumer staples name with a clear margin catalyst and a 2.7% dividend might be exactly the kind of boring that makes money.

While everyone's waiting on the SpaceX ticker…

Tech investing legend Jeff Brown has pinpointed a Musk-linked company that could see far more explosive growth.

This "hidden supplier" to SpaceX is set to provide Musk with 5 billion chips over the next two years.

And Brown says we're just weeks away from witnessing a 10,587% growth explosion.

MACRO PLAY • IRAN DEADLINE TUESDAY

$FRO — FRONTLINE

$5.3B CAP • OIL TANKERS • $36.48

Frontline runs one of the world's largest fleets of supertankers... the massive ships that carry crude oil across oceans.

Why it's here: Tanker charter rates have gone 5x since the Hormuz disruption started, with supertanker day rates now above $400,000 per day. Each ship earns $400K every day it's moving oil. When the shortest route is blocked, ships take longer routes, need more time, and charge more for every voyage. Basic supply and demand, and the math is printing money for tanker operators.

Tuesday's deadline is the binary. If Hormuz stays closed, rates could go higher. If a ceasefire surprises, this trade unwinds fast.

The risk: Pure geopolitical momentum trade. Polymarket gives a ceasefire by April 30 a 27.5% chance... so there's a real possibility this has an expiration date. Ride it, don't marry it.

EARNINGS + MACRO • WEDNESDAY

$DAL — DELTA AIR LINES

$43.5B CAP • AIRLINES • $66.70

Airlines are the inverse of the oil trade. When tankers win, airlines bleed. Jet fuel above $110 a barrel makes every flight Delta operates more expensive.

Why it's here: Delta reports Wednesday and their fuel cost guidance could set the tone for every airline through earnings season. If they announce successful fuel hedging, the stock could rip even with $110 oil. If margins get crushed, the whole sector follows it down. This is more about the signal than the stock... Delta's earnings call will tell you how the entire travel industry is handling the oil shock.

The risk: Don't assume this is a guaranteed short. Travel demand is still strong and Delta's management team is elite at managing through tough fuel environments. Listen to the call before making any moves.

ALSO ON RADAR: $APLD ($25.50) reports earnings Tuesday with a ±22.7% average move... AI data center infrastructure play that pivoted from crypto mining. And the broader AI optical networking theme continues accelerating with AAOI landing $253M+ in transceiver orders for hyperscale data centers, validating the entire supply chain.
